No I mean literally, are you full of crap? I have Nutrition Counseled dozens of people with a number of ailments and when I ask them if they are pooping they always say yes. However, when I tell them what normal bowel function is, the answer immediately changes to “No.”
What is normal bowel function? Have you ever been told how to poop? It sounds funny doesn’t it? What if I told you that 80% of all cancer begins in the colon? What if I told you that 90% of the world’s population has a fungal infection? That includes you if you eat a lot of sugar. What if I told you that we spend 2 million dollars a day in the USA for laxatives? My point is that we are a nation that is full of SHIT.
This might seem funny; however, here is my point: When we don’t empty our bowels on a regular basis, we absorb the garbage that is left behind. That means if there is poison like pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides from our food or excess estrogen that needs to leave our body and it can’t, you re-absorb it back through the body.
That puts most women into an estrogen toxic state among other things. If you’re re-circulating excess estrogen, what do you think that is going to do to the rest of your hormonal system? What do you think that it going to do to your energy from day to day?
Normal bowel function is categorized like this: if you are not passing 12 inches of fecal material on a daily basis, going 30 minutes after you eat, and having a sense of completion after you finish, you are constipated.
The 7 symptoms of chronic poisoning are (from my Detox article) fatigue, sleep disturbance, GI (Gastro Intestinal) distress, allergy symptoms, headaches, confusion, and anxiety. This goes for everyone.
I see a lot of people that go right after having coffee. Coffee stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and makes your bowels move. That means that you had to artificially stimulate your body to poop. There is always a price to pay for that.
After 7 to 21 days you can train the body to do anything, it’s called entrainment. Think of Pavlov’s dog. If you suppress the urge to poop and have coffee or other stimulants on a regular basis, then you train the body in this pattern. The problem is when the stimulus is gone, the response is still there. Think of the dog salivating even when there is no bell.
In as little as 7 days we can train children to be constipated by giving them rich sugary treats and bad food. For you adults it can be worse because most doctors will say that it may be normal for you to go every other day. Well my question is this: If you are eating 3-4 meals a day and nothing is coming out, where does it go and where does it get stored? It gets stuck in your colon, becomes a compost heap, and makes it an ideal place for parasites and fungus to thrive.
What does it do to your exercise and fitness? Good question. When your colon is impacted, or full, it has to expand; when it expands it will push out against the abdominal wall. This in turn de-stabilizes the abdominal wall, pelvic floor, and can cause a number of problems, the number 1 being lower back pain.
When your gut becomes a compost heap and it starts to decay because it’s in a nice warm, wet environment, you start getting gas and just a bad odor in general. This is because your skin is an organ of detoxification and the body is trying to push out the garbage anywhere it can. Do you think this makes it harder or easier for the body to recover from a lot of activity in the gym? It makes it harder, of course.
I could talk about this for days but I have to poop so I’ll
leave you with this. Keep well
hydrated, stay away from a lot of sugary garbage, and never suppress the
urge. If you are still having a
problem, then you need the right kind of help, so email me.
